The interior design project for this apartment focuses on amplifying the perception of space, creating an ambience that goes beyond the physical confines of the rooms and using ecological and natural materials. Each design element is carefully selected to bring balance, functionality and a subtle connection with nature.
- Visual amplification of space
The apartment, with limited space and incapable of further expansion, is visually amplified through a series of innovative solutions. The proposed tapestries evoke a vast universe, opening up the perspective of the space. In addition, built-in furniture frees the floor, creating a feeling of airiness and fluidity. The color palette, dominated by pastel tones and white, is complemented by light-colored veneers in birch, maple, spruce, palmetin and pear wood, which add a touch of lightness and warmth. - Creating an ambience that goes beyond the space of the room
Light is used to sculpt the ambience, creating areas of penumbra that enhance the visually expansive spaces. Vegetation is integrated both on the balcony and near interior windows, bringing nature closer and complementing the interior landscape of each room. This connection with the outdoors creates a relaxing and comforting atmosphere. - Use of noble, natural and environmentally friendly materials
The design promotes sustainability through the use of natural materials with low formaldehyde emissions and sound-absorbing properties, which provide superior acoustic comfort. The materials chosen not only respect the environment but also provide a healthy and pleasant living environment. - Economy of expressive means
The ambience of each room is shaped by a reduced palette of materials and expressive means. The balanced composition, with a maximum of three different materials per room, creates a refined and elegant aesthetic. These materials are used harmoniously, in carefully thought-out series and accents, to create an ordered and coherent space. - Connecting with nature, balance and freedom
The wallpaper evokes abstracted natural landscapes, contributing to the sense of amplification of real space. The furnishings in the living area individualize two essential zones - the dining room and the living room - with exquisite wall panels. The office is conceived as a metaphor for the freedom and joy of working or studying, while the master bedroom impresses with its combination of natural materials and the chromatic contrast between the mysterious wallpaper and the light shades of the furniture, offering a relaxed yet elegant space.
